Gouged as specified, consistent quality cane + a skilful reed maker = successful reeds! A long time favourite!

The canes are ok for beginners and early grades. However, I do find the cane lacking in flexibility and sonority.

Good cane - all ten pieces were of similar quality - no discoloured pieces hidden away in the middle!
