The Kolbl Roko 'Gig Bag' Bassoon case is ideal if you are always on the move and carrying your instrument!
The case has 4 slots for each joint of the bassoon to go in, each with thick padding protecting the bassoon covered in soft velvet lining. There is an internal detachable padded fabric tool case which can hold a lot of items, such as your full reed making kit. There is a pouch on the front of the case which has a hard protective bocal / crook case that can hold 4 crooks. There are 2 large zipper pockets which can hold your straps, handrest, water cup and much more on the sides of the case.
The case is very comfortable to wear as a backpack due to the amount of padding used in the case and the adjustable padded backpack straps. The backpack straps can also be adjusted at the shoulder area to change the weight distribution of the case between your hips and shoulders. The case can be carried by hand using the durable fabric handles. The case is very lightweight at only 2.2Kg.
