Winfield Continental Oboe Reed (Medium)

Upon arrival, the reeds were far too free-blowing, and one had a defective staple where the cork extended past the end of the staple. This raises concerns about whether any quality checks were carried out before shipping.
I contacted Crook and Staple through their online chat function but received no response. I then followed up via email, yet there has still been no reply. Given this experience, I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again.

Have found ordering reeds easy every time. No problems, communication is clear and delivery is reliable. What more would anyone want. Thanks Crook & Staple

I love the reeds so much - they're super well made and work incredible. When I tried to work them in, I realized that they were a little too hard for the level that I'm at, but I 100% recommend them and will be buying a couple different types to see what works best for me

I’ve had a number of Winfield Continental reeds now from Crook & Staple. I have always found the reeds to play well, produce a good sound and tone. There is sometimes a difference in the hardness of the scrape which can take some reeds longer to be playable. I will continue to buy these reeds

Started back playing again. Ordered a new oboe and thought I would try the Winfield reed, it looked so interesting. Shipping took far longer than i anticipated and the reed leaks. Better luck next time I hope.

I always order more than one Reed at a time expecting to get one I like in the batch. Of this batch of three, all are very playable and although different (as expected) all very good quality.
Thank you for helping me to get back into playing with some reeds that will help me to make a great tone!

A couple of these have been excellent. Great tone, easy to play and in tune in all registers. But I've also had a couple which i couldn't play at all. More consistency would be appreciated.
